True Story.

California was spectacular and Phoenix was even better! I met so many interesting people during my trip. Everywhere from my flight to LA to a young guy who works at a smoke shop in a plaza in Santa Monica. I was able to see my friend Marcus, go to some hot trendy clubs in LA, meet (and kiss) an amazing guy, that I'm head over heels for, in person for the first time, and of course I was able to finally put my foot into the Pacific Ocean for the very first time. I was able to befriend some very cool (and very down-to-earth) people who were from all walks of life. The stories I've heard were truly amazing. Nothing could compare to hearing everyone's stories about where their from, what they do for a living, and just getting to know them on some level or another. They say life can pass you by if you don't stop and smell the roses every now and then. I stopped plenty to smell many a rose and boy was the fragrance mighty sweet. I'm going back to Phoenix in about 17 days to see the wonderful guy that I have spent the last few months getting to know. It's interesting to see how things work out and why you meet the people you do in life, but this chance situation was more like some sort of predestined event. We'll see how things work out over time. In other news, I really miss the warm weather and even with the clocks changing here, the weather has yet to improve significantly. Hopefully in the next few days a warm from makes it way into Southern Jersey. Also, I was offered by a local band to design their next album cover which is absolutely fantastic news for me. I only do my artwork for pleasure not for any sort of money making purposes because it would take the fun out of it. However, I wouldn't mind giving it a shot here and there to do some paid stuff. I'm not sure yet what their look for, but I will keep that subject open until further notice. The picture posted in this entry was taken of my friend Hara, who I went to see in LA, and myself @ a trendy LA nightclub called Area. Well, I must cut this one short because it's late (aka early @ 1:35am) and I'm dead tired. Until next time ;-)
